Keeping our shelter running 24/7 a week, 365 days a year requires many wonderful volunteers and lots of supplies! As such, we are so grateful for the generous people in our community who have donated supplies to our shelter. We have put together a C.A.R.E.S. Wish List to help summarize the supplies we can use at the shelter. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter, please contact us to make arrangements info@crescatshelter.com

ROYAL CANIN is generously donating wet and dry food to our shelter and is also providing adoption kits with food, coupons and other goodies for our new adoptive cat parents. ROYAL CANIN is a high quality food product which offers a large variety of foods to meet the specific needs of each cat. We are very excited to have the opportunity to use this food and help promote such a fine product. For more information about ROYAL CANIN, you can log onto their website at https://royalcanin.ca

As not-for-profit organizations, animal shelters rely heavily on food donations from the public or pet stores.  These acts of kindness are appreciated tremendously.  However, it is not ideal to feed cats different types and qualities of food because a changing nutritional regime can have a negative impact on their digestive systems. C.A.R.E.S. Cat Shelter is excited that our arrangement with ROYAL CANIN will enable us to offer the cats in our care consistent and high quality food.

Our experience has shown us that proper nutrition is the single most important thing shelters can do for their cats’ overall health. It makes a dramatic difference for cats waiting for their forever home.

If you are interested in more information about the ROYAL CANIN  program or if you would like to make a donation, please email us.
